Appeal to Our Web Readers

Liberation, Central Organ of CPI(ML), a monthly, contains many features you may take interest in. Being the organ of a revolutionary communist party, it carries the ongoing lively debate within the communist circles on various facets of party practice, on how to advance the revolutionary cause of Indian people. It deals with the tactical debate between the revolutionary and opportunist streams of the communist movement in India. And then, it carries detailed reports of mass activities being taken up at the grassroots, because it is these activities that make up the foundation for the party's initiatives at the national level.

The magazine also carries first-hand studies of the situation in rural areas not only in Bihar, where strong feudal remnants exists in their worst forms, but also in states like Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Punjab and Rajasthan, precisely because peasant movement forms the main arena of our struggle for a democratic and prosperous India.
Liberation is also known for its theoretical articles concerning Marxism in the present day world. Quite different from other traditional left magazines, it also contains film reviews, articles on literature and art, debates in culture, etc. And more usefully, sometimes you may find old articles of archival importance.
